The Power of PW!

Here's a look at the Churchwide Coordinating Team's report: Our Synod, THE SYNOD OF THE MID-ATLANTIC, has the highest percentage of women participating in PW in the nation!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**35 different gatherings were held throughout our Synod this year; 22 different retreats;more than 20 different training events that included 1,200 women and over 300 Honorary Life Memberships!

**Financial support by PW:
     $85,000 in Mission pledges
     $164,000 in Birthday Offering
     $105,000 in Thank Offering
     $2,000 in Least Coin
     $52,000 in other Special Offerings
     $35,000 in Scholarship Awards

~~PW throughout the Synod donate time, energy, talent and finances to support many mission and development opportunities. Among them are: quilts and prayer shawls, prison whites, food pantries, clothes closets, outreach to unwed mothers, prison ministry, peace and justice issues, teaching Bible studies and Bible School, overseas and local mission trips, committee reps, visiting the sick, and rides to appointments. PW also serve as elders, deacons, Sunday school teachers, pastors, lay pastors, committee chairs, vocalists, and musicians. They volunteer in schools and in their neighborhoods.
